SEEDs foundation is offering wide range of community learning courses and training courses in flexible learning mode.
These courses are available for all our learners from age16+ to age 50 from diverse community.
The learner can achieve the qualification from entry Level 1 to level 2 for further progression into employment.
All Our qualification is suitable for those who are seeking employment or looking to retain their job and Want to develop their job prospects.

Applying for Indefinite Leave to Remain/British Nationality
Under the new Government rules, we are now delivering a course to prepare people for the Government recognised English test at Beginner’s Level 1.
English and maths courses
We offer a range of English and Maths courses, from functional skills programmes at Entry Level, to Level 2 programmes and GCSE qualifications. Our courses are delivered flexibly, with a range of evening classes, as well as courses run within local community venues.
Functional Skills (Maths and English)
You will work towards recognised Functional Skills qualifications in English and Maths. These courses are FREE and are designed to be fun and friendly to give you confidence at work and during your everyday life. Courses start regularly and are held at the SEEDS Foundation centre.

GCSE
Didn’t get the grades you wanted? Do you need a GCSE to boost your job prospects? Join our GCSE classes in English, Maths and Science.
Maths and English GCSEs are FREE for students without a grade C or above. An assessment will be required to study on all our GCSE programmes.
Courses title: Preparing for Interviews
Course Overview
This course is about being able to take an effective part in an interview. It looks at the preparation needed before attending an interview, how to communicate during an interview i.e. by effective listening and responding and how to ask relevant questions.
Courses delivery: 12 hours over one week time.
Course title: Developing Awareness of Mentoring
Course delivery: part time
Course Overview
This qualification allows learners to gain a deeper understanding of the role of a mentor and develop the skills needed to become an effective mentor.
The aims of the qualification are to help learners to:
• Gain insight into the role and practice of mentorship
• Be clear about mentor/mentee relationships
• Ensure they follow good practice
• Develop the specific skills and understanding they will require in order to mentor
• Reflect on their own learning and work performance and understand the benefits of mentoring
• Understand legal and ethical mentoring requirements.
Learners will investigate the role and benefits of mentoring and they will also explore the skills and tools required by a mentor including communication, questioning and feedback.

This innovative course will develop your understanding of a variety of well-being topics relevant across a wide range of social and work settings.
You will gain an insight into the impact that lifestyle choices can have, and how to make more informed, healthy choices.

Course title: Introduction to Wellbeing
Course level: 1

Course Overview

Course Overview;
This qualification is suitable for learners who are thinking about working as a volunteer and will provide them with an insight into the role and an awareness of the personal standards required of them whilst volunteering. It is also suitable for those learners who are already in a volunteering role and will enhance both their knowledge and skills.
