Qurbani Project

The Qurbani project has been a steadfast initiative since 2005, dedicated to aiding the people of Azad Kashmir during Eid al-Adha. This sacred event, rooted in the legacy of the Islamic prophet Ibrahim, serves as a poignant reminder of the values of sacrifice and compassion. Just as Muslims around the world commemorate Ibrahim’s devotion by offering their own cattle, we, at the SEEDS Foundation Organization, strive to exemplify this spirit of generosity and solidarity.

In times when financial burdens weigh heavily on the shoulders of many in Azad Kashmir, our organization stands as a beacon of support. Through the unwavering generosity of our donors, we are able to provide essential aid to numerous households within the village. With meticulous care, we select healthy and suitable animals, ensuring that each sacrifice is conducted in a hygienic environment. The distribution of meat thereafter is conducted with utmost diligence, reaching those in need with nourishment and sustenance.

Over the past decade, this program has touched the lives of communities across seven villages, impacting the lives of nearly 700 families and 2500 individuals. Looking ahead, our vision is to expand our reach to neighbouring villages, extending our support to even more deserving households. It is through the collective efforts of our donors and supporters that we can sustain this vital lifeline for the less fortunate year after year.

To all those who have contributed to this noble cause, we express our deepest gratitude. Your unwavering commitment to making a difference in the lives of others fuels our mission and inspires hope in the hearts of those we serve. Together, we continue to uphold the principles of compassion and solidarity, leaving an indelible mark of kindness on the world around us.

Flood Relief Projects

In the tumultuous year of 2022, Pakistan faced the onslaught of a devastating flood, one of the most formidable and perilous natural disasters since the South Asia flood of 2020. This catastrophic event not only ranks as the deadliest flooding in recent memory but has also exacted a staggering toll on human life, leaving over 1,700 individuals perished and 13,000 injured. For many, it has been a harrowing ordeal, marked by heartbreak and anguish.

In the wake of this calamity, the Seeds Foundation swiftly mobilized to provide aid and solace to those left destitute and despondent. Recognizing the urgent need for assistance, we wasted no time in extending a helping hand to the affected communities. Amidst the chaos and devastation, our organization distributed essential food packages and basic hygiene necessities, including soap and detergent, to families grappling with the aftermath of the flood.

Moreover, Seeds Foundation embarked on a mission to deliver critical medical aid to the injured and vulnerable, endeavouring to alleviate their suffering and mend the wounds of loss. Our resolve to restore hope and dignity to those who have endured unfathomable loss remains unwavering.

Central to our mission is the steadfast commitment to rebuild the shattered foundations and restore the resilience of communities ravaged by the floodwaters. We are dedicated to ensuring that the people have the resources and support they need to reclaim their livelihoods and forge ahead with renewed strength and determination.

As we navigate the arduous journey of recovery and rebuilding, Seeds Foundation remains steadfast in our pledge to stand by the side of those in need, offering compassion, solidarity, and unwavering support. Together, we will sow the seeds of hope and resilience, nurturing a future where communities can thrive and flourish once more.

Winter Relief Projects

Winter relief efforts have served as a lifeline for the people of Neelum Valley, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, offering crucial support during the harsh winter months. Amidst freezing temperatures and heavy snowfall, many families in the region struggle to stay warm, often lacking adequate resources to protect themselves from the bitter cold.

Recognizing the urgent need for assistance, the Seeds Foundation has ventured into remote areas where support is scarce, providing essential aid to those in need. Our efforts have included the distribution of warm clothing and multiple blankets to everyone and families, offering vital protection against the elements.

In addition to addressing immediate needs for warmth and shelter, we have also extended assistance in the form of food provisions. The challenging terrain and adverse weather conditions pose significant obstacles to agricultural productivity, making it difficult for families to grow crops or access essential supplies. Moreover, the isolation of these remote communities exacerbates the difficulty of obtaining food, as travel becomes treacherous during winter.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we have been able to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those facing hardship in Neelum Valley. Their contributions have provided comfort and relief to individuals and families who otherwise would have struggled to endure the harsh realities of winter.

As we continue our efforts to support communities in need, we remain deeply grateful to our donors for their compassion and generosity. Together, we are making a tangible difference in the lives of those who are most vulnerable, offering hope and warmth during adversity.
