Our Comprehensive First Aid Training Program is an extended course designed to develop deep expertise in life-saving techniques, emergency response, and health and safety practices. Spanning 12 to 36 weeks, this program combines theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience to prepare individuals for diverse first aid responsibilities in professional and community settings.
This long-term course is ideal for individuals seeking an in-depth understanding of first aid principles, those preparing for advanced certifications, or professionals aiming to take on leadership roles in health and safety.

This comprehensive program is structured to support progressive learning, with modules evolving over three stages:
Weeks 1-12: Core First Aid Skills
Introduction to First Aid:
- Principles of first aid and the role of a first responder.
- Legal considerations and responsibilities in the UK.
Basic Life Support (BLS):
- CPR techniques for adults, children, and infants.
- Using automated external defibrillators (AED).
Common Injuries and Treatments:
- Managing cuts, burns, and fractures.
- Treating minor injuries and controlling bleeding.
Weeks 13-24: Intermediate and Workplace-Specific First Aid
Emergency Scenarios:
- Responding to heart attacks, strokes, and diabetic emergencies.
- Handling breathing difficulties and asthma attacks.
Workplace First Aid:
- Conducting risk assessments in workplace environments.
- Addressing specific hazards such as chemical exposure or machinery accidents.
Mental Health First Aid:
- Identifying signs of mental health crises.
- Providing initial support and connecting individuals to resources.
Weeks 25-36: Advanced and Specialized First Aid
Advanced Trauma Response:
- Managing spinal injuries and head trauma.
- Responding to life-threatening scenarios such as anaphylaxis or seizures.
Leadership in First Aid:
- Training others in first aid practices.
- Coordinating emergency responses in large-scale incidents.
Certifications and Assessments:
- Preparing for advanced first aid qualifications.
- Reviewing case studies to refine critical thinking and response strategies.
- Hands-On Practice: Regular simulations using lifelike mannequins and medical equipment.
- Interactive Workshops: Group exercises to build teamwork and confidence in emergencies.
- Expert-Led Instruction: Learn from certified first aid trainers with years of field experience.
- Real-World Scenarios: Engage in case studies and practical exercises relevant to workplace and community settings.
- Progressive Assessments: Receive continuous feedback through evaluations and practice tests.

The application process is mainly three steps:
- Firstly, you fill out an application form, available here.
- Then, we will contact you to arrange an interview if you pass our preliminary checks.
- Lastly, once you pass the interview, you are enrolled and can start attending on the start date.
